Delete your account

Last updated 28 July 2026

You can delete your Orange account, and everything attached to it, whenever you like. Here is exactly how, and exactly what happens.

From inside the app

  1. Open Orange.
  2. Go to SettingsAccount.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. The deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

If you no longer have the app

Ask us here, using the email address on your account — we may need to confirm it’s you before we act. We will complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm when it’s done.

What gets deleted

  • Your account record and sign-in identifier.
  • Your name and email address, as held by us.
  • Any notes, books and stickers synced to our servers.
  • Your entitlement records for Orange Plus.

What does not

  • Notes stored only on your device. Those are removed when you delete the app from your phone — we cannot reach them.
  • Purchase records. We are legally required to retain receipts and tax records. These are kept separately and are not used for anything else.
  • Your subscription. Deleting your account does notcancel Orange Plus, because Apple bills it, not us. Cancel it in your device’s Settings under your Apple ID, or you will keep being charged.

Take your notes with you first

Deletion is permanent, so export before you go. In SettingsExportyou can save your whole library as a file. Do that first — we cannot restore an account once it’s deleted.
